This weekend was damn fun. It's enough to compensate for all the shit that I have been doing this week.
Let's talk about yesterday first.. I went to Leonard's place for steamboat, it was actually a JC class gathering but dunno why Zhong Yi (from another class) is here. Although Iris is from the next class, she's Leslie's girl so nevermind.. haha.. Our dinner only started at around 9pm when the majority of us had arrived. The steamboat is quite special, it is heated by charcoal not electricity. We started 'dinner' without Stella and Choon Yew because we are hungry and they will be late.. The two of them damn funny la.. they lost their way.. They took 2 hours to reach Thong Soon Green from Dhoby Gaut by
car.. They toured like the whole of Singapore before reaching.. Haha.. After dinner, we went to Esplanade to talk cock.. We sort of have a good time getting lost in Singapore.. Lol.. Choon Yew can even lose his way while going home.. Haha.. Damn sad.. Heard he lost his way in the Jurong industrial area.. I guess yesterday's trip burnt a very big hole in his pocket.. Choon Yew should get a talking street directory since I guess he doesn't really like looking at maps..
Today's part is exciting.. Haha.. Uncle brought us to Melts at The Oriental for com treat! The food was damn nice.. especially the desserts! Kenneth was a pig lor.. he ate a lot of rounds.. When some of us are still at our first round, he was already eating his third.. Oink! I took about 2 rounds of main course and I think 3 or 4 rounds of desserts.. haha.. The dessert was really heaven for those of us who have a sweet tooth. The variety was good and the quality was great! I tried all their cakes. The cheesecake was quite rich and tasted very good. I also took waffle with lemon lime ice-cream.. The ice-cream was very refreshing! The cookie was very nice too, it was rich and had chocolate flowing inside! There was also chocolate fondue! Wahaha.. too bad those who aren't there.. Everything was great! The food plus the service. Even though they should know that we aren't tourist, they still treat us like very special guests. I kind of like the feeling.. hehe.. The com treat was from Uncle instead of the fund. No need to guess also can see that it really burnt a big big hole in his wallet.. Thanks Uncle! Nice working with you!
Oh well.. it's near the end of my exciting weekends.. Back to reality now.. Jia You, Raggers! Let's work hard for our dream!

Really Busy
Sigh.. Sigh and more sighs..
Damn busy.. I
thought that after the camp, Rag will come in slowly.. but I was wrong.. Today is our 5th day at work (real work I mean.. the canvassing shit doesn't really count..) From last friday till now, we have been busy cutting cans, 'sniffing' contact glue and 'playing' with white glue.. all the stuff we have to do either doesn't come or they all came in at the same time.. Since we don't have the full team yet, we are trying to make the most out of those who are present.. quite tiring leh.. Although you feel happy when you finished a given task, another task will soon be handed over to you in like less than 5 mins.. sad..
Actually I feel that Rag came as a sudden blow after I sort of recovered my energy from the camp.. Everything is in a rush.. the countdown timer states 50 more days to Rag Day..
But we have only just ended our 5th day.. I wonder how long I can survive like this.. 50 more days of
hell.. *shivers*

Haven't blogged in quite a few days already.. Not really in the mood to blog actually.. Haha..
I don't like it when someone tells me what not to blog.. (it's about the camper in the previous post) I feel that I should be free to write whatever I want or feel.. I'm not that insensitive to write down names of those people whom I'm passing negative comments about.. So what if the person I'm writing about happens to read my negative comments about him/her? If the person have conscience and can think, he/she should know what is wrong with him/herself without me blogging about it. 自知自明.
Sigh..
Busy, busy, busy.. after the camp last thursday when you think you can rest for good, think again.. I have rag duties starting the following day.. Anyway, I slept my way through from 5pm(thursday) to 10am(friday).. But somehow it didn't seem enough.. sad.. haha.. Currently busy with rag.. from noon till late..
Going off now! before I'm late!

Wow! Today is the 1st day of the Sheares Exposure Camp. Being in the committee is hard work, especially if you are the one sorting out the adminstrative stuff.. It sucks a lot! Haha.. Actually not very fierce la.. Just very stress when I think something is wrong or missing.. Today the total number of Freshmen (Master Gary said cannot put 'Freshie') who turned up is very healthy. We hit over 50! Muahaha!! To think that we were so scared there we'll have only 3 people joining the camp at first! Haha.. Now that those worries are gone, we have some other things to worry about.. Sigh.. Just hoping that the programme side does not face any problems and that there is no freshman with attitude problem..
Actually, there is one la.. I shall not speak of his name here.. He came in with a 'sian' look, and when I asked him politely to fill in the particulars form for hall admin, he said he had filled in the form already. He actually did not fill in any forms lor.. just sent me an email with some particulars only.. Just fill up some form will die is it? Not I want to say lor.. indemnity form also don't want to fill in.. GO EAT SHIT AND DIE LA!!
Haiyo.. skip to next topic before I puke blood.. The top 50 CLEO bachelor came late today. Actually he look OK la.. tall, big and muscular.. I will not say he's handsome, just not ugly.. haha.. Dina was complaining why all the better-looking guys and gals go to other groups but hers.. haha.. the bachelor went to Triton and the pretty mixed-blood girl went to Nemo. I wasn't very involved with the freshmen today.. but I heard Nemo was very high.. not the councilors only, the freshmen too. That's good! Haha.. Ali Baba like only councilors high only.. Boo!

Today's collection was quite ok.. 15 campers came to pay the money for the camp. Now we have 45 people!
Yay!! I think we have 15 guys so far, the rest are gals.. Although the male-female ratio is still not very good, we think it's ok.. It's already a bit better than what we expected.. What else can we ask for? We did not go down during the guy's medical check-up and our poster was designed for NOTHING.. it did not get published in the matriculation package.. sad.. wasted our effort.. we called and persuaded all the male campers that were on our lists and many of us also try contacting our seniors and juniors.. Well anyway.. we are expecting more guys to turn up and pay on the day of the camp itself.. so the forecasted number of guys will hit above 20 and the total number of campers may even hit 60! *Crossed fingers*
Overall, I think that even the most handsome male camper is only ok-looking only.. the one that me, Liz, Joyce and Ernnie had been waiting for the whole afternoon was a disappointment.. He was voted one of the top 50 eligible bachelors for the Cleo magazine, but his looks fail to meet our expectations.. Sigh.. We thought we can at least see some hunk lor.. You should see our faces when that guy came.. Lol.. we were like 'Is he the one?', our faces immediately changed when we saw him.. Haha..
Today I met Amanda at her workplace while I'm having dinner. I did not notice her, she was the one who spotted me.. Haha.. now her working location is not a secret to me anymore! Muahaha!
So sian!! Later still have to paint banner.. now waiting for Keith to come back to hall from home to help me paint the stupid ugly banner.. Oops.. Lol.. I think what I said is true.. You can see it on the day of the camp itself and have a good laugh.. Our camp t-shirts are finally here! They look very nice! I like the design very much, except for the printing error for the back design.. the colour the manufacturer used was not the colour we wanted.. they printed it using a colour that is too bright, making the most important words less visible from far.. will not disclose anymore details.. councillors and campers will find out on their own when they get their t-shirts..
Now tyring to finish "The Impossible Quiz".. lol.. Go try it now! The link is "
http://www.addictinggames.com/theimpossiblequiz.html" There are over hundred questions.. I'm currently stuck at question 80+.. can retry until you puke blood lor.. try it only when you have time.. It's quite addictive.. I would say the questions are very idiotic IQ questions.. I advice you not to think too much while going thru the questions.. haha.. Good Luck trying!!

2 more days to Sheares Exposure Camp!!Yup. 2 more days only! Yet somebody is not doing her job. I'm not the only one complaining here. Everyone in the committee feels the same too, only that we don't say it out openly.. She really have to do something about this.. From the start of the committee till now, what have she done? She did nothing! Nothing that is part of her job! She's only there for like half of our meetings or less than that.. her reasons are always family, church and friends.. as if the rest of us don't have family or friends like that.. sigh.. and she always manage to get away to do her stuffs while we are still doing our work or needs her help.. For example, this evening when we were painting the banner for the camp, Kenneth only asked her to take over his part while he goes to the toilet, and guess what? She painted only a while then left when Kenneth was back, saying that her dad bought black pepper crab and she had to go home for dinner.. What an excuse?! What did she think we are? Don't she thinks that we are also hungry? and that we also want to spend time with our family? What the ****!
Nevermind.. Later while we were having dinner and were discussing about the logistics for our night walk, we said we must get her to help Nic buy the stuffs we need, since Marketing had to confirm with the sponors for our food hunt, Programmes people are all busy and we Publicity have to go to Starbucks to collect payment from the campers. And what did she reply to Uncle Joseph's sms? She has some church event going on and it will be until evening! Walau.. every time find things for her to do, she like that one leh.. she damn pro at dodging arrows la! As someone in that position, she should take responsibility to see that everything is doing well or check on the various cells and help out wherever needed.. The things she did are so damn insignificant.. How I wish she could be given less points.. I could even say that the councillors are doing more than what she did or is going to do next week.. This is just so bad.. I'm worrying about how she's going to survive at work when she graduates..
Sigh.. There are just so many problems going on.. both in SECC and Rag.. Level of inefficiency is high.. There are just too many limiting factors in the working environment.. It's not like we are not trying our best, it's just that given the limited amount of time and resources available, nothing much could be done. I just think that this is so unfair. The blame should not totally fall on us when our tasks are not fulfilled. When you are stuck in a situation whereby there is nothing you can do to improve it, why not leave it as it is and do other things that can be proved to be more productive. Sitting around mulling over the problem does not help. Some people just have to get this into their heads.. Sometimes, they are just plain brainless.. cannot think of the big picture.. sigh.. thinking of it just makes me angry..

3 more days to Sheares Exposure Camp!3 more days only, yet so much left to do.. The banner not painted, video not editted, sponsored stuffs not completely collected.. Some logistic not done yet.. Wow, how lucky I'm in publicity not logistics.. Nic is dying from his workload already.. haha.. wonder how he balance Rag, SECC, CSS and his personal life.. so busy..
Today's we went down to Raffles City's Starbucks to collect money from campers again. Results were both amazing and disappointing.. 27 people came to pay today. It's more than what we expexcted! There was a time when all 3 of us were so busy entertaining campers, collecting money and issuing receipts. Now we are not very worried about getting not enough campers, we are worried about not enough male campers.. there are only 9 male campers that had paid.. the 21 others are female.. Worse.. we concluded that all the guys cannot make it.. Help! We need more male campers (desperate need for more handsome ones =P) If you know of any male friends who are entering university this year, ask them to join Sheares Exposure Camp! Our next collection date is saturday 9 June 2007. My contact is 94776500, email:
happyking237@msn.comSo tired.. Going to sleep now.. after typing emails on what to bring to those who have paid for the camp.. Sigh.. later still have to go back hall for meeting and to finish up my banner.. (i'm currently at home)

Holiday, holiday..Today, we went to Sentosa to recce the place for beach games and for some filming.. I confused the meeting time and arrived at 1pm instead of 12pm.. haiz.. but not much harm done because some of them ate lunch while waiting for late-comers.. And guess who's the latest? Uncle Joseph, the one who sms-ed everyone not to be late.. Anyway, we experienced bad weather, it started to rain quite heavily just as we set off on the monorail from Vivo.. Damn sian.. Just hoped that it will not rain on the days we plan to come here again..
10 more days left.. yet so many things left to do.. *sob* calling up of people for their confirmation, calling them again to inform them about payment, design banner, photocopy registration forms (in case of people like me last year).. PLUS rag stuffs too.. haiz.. later have collecting of materials.. another whole day event.. and there's collection of camp fees on Saturday.. (it's at Raffles City Starbucks from 2-5pm, if you are bored, can come and chat with me.)
Conclusion: Busy week.. if it's not Rag, then it's SECC.. Sigh.. I won't be so dumb to join holiday committees again.. (I guess so?)
