* Fantasizing.. *
Just finished reading the manga "Absolute Boyfriend" or "Zettai Kareshi" on Crunchyroll recently..
I like the storyline.. It has also a very touching ending..
[Edited: Absolute Boyfriend has been chosen by many as the "manga that made you cry".]
I would like to have a boyfriend like the male lead in the manga..
Though it's quite impossible for such a person to exist.. (Too ideal already)
Sigh.. Anyways.. I have been fantasizing about what I will do if I'm in the same situation as the female lead.. *Blush* Lol..
Kind of tired of hearing my YOUNGER siblings boast about their love lives..
Ultimately, I would recommend this manga la.. It's in English by the way.. So go check it out ya?

(This is the manga type of handsome guys)

* Being Average *
I wanna be an average girl.
Pretty, cute and smart.
Grow up to become an average woman.
Be an ordinary wife.
A good mother.
I'm not the type that go for risks.
For I am afraid of losing.
I am a coward. (Yup. I am.)
Not that I don't want to be rich, successful or accomplished.
I just know I'm not up to the challenges.
I will do the best I can and that's all.
I don't mind having a rich husband though.
One who can protect me from all harm.
One who has the ability to provide my needs and wants.
One who loves me for who I am.
I don't mind a poor husband either.
However the difficulties, I hope, I hope that love can bring us through them all.
I'd like to have a handsome husband.
But I don't mind having an average-looking one too.
Whoever and wherever he may be, I hope we'll meet soon.

* Busy~ *
Sigh.. blogging has became more and more like a weekly activity..
I'm so busy with lab reports, meetings and tests..
A few more weeks of tests to go..
A week full of tutorials coming up this week..
I've been sleeping like only 3-4 hours a day for the entire week already!
There's 12 hours of sun everyday..
Yet, my days seems so short and my nights are so long..
This strenuous routine is draining out my energy..
I've been sleeping in more lectures these days..
And the condition is getting worse!
I'm starting to find difficulty in waking up as days goes by..
2 projects to hand in at the end of next week..
Both only half done.. I'm so dead..

* An Eventful Day *
Phew.. What a day! I can finally take a rest..
Today, I start with checking mails (Ya.. AGAIN! No life right? I absolutely agree.)
Then I packed and went out to be part of the "Combine Hall Photo Shoot" which is going to be used by NUS to promote Hall Life..
I went because there wasn't enough people and also because they said that a free NUS windbreaker would be given to participants.. (Ya.. I'm a cheapo..)
I went there as a Shearite, but I was asked to become KE7 because they only have 1 person at that time..
How ashame I was when I was posing to promote KE7 and not SH..
What will people think? "Why is our hall's JCRC wearing a KE7 jersey in that pic?"
Though I don't even think people recognizes me..
People will only remember my name and my position..
"Lee See Mun Sandra
Director of Information
27th JCRC"
How thick-skinned am I..
Omg.. What if people thinks that the cute girl in the pic is from KE7 and they apply for KE7 to see me?! How can like this?
Lol.. I'm day-dreaming too much.. No need to care about me..
Well, we posed on benches, staircases, grass patches, logs and the road between SDE and KR terminal..
Do you know how scary it was to take photos on the road?
We rushed out to the road, pose and take a few shots, then rush back to the side of the road again before we get hit by incoming vehicles..
Anyway.. the whole process was quite fun.. =)
I rushed back to hall after that to attend meeting..
The meeting was adjourned at 8.30pm as Darius and Darren were participants of the sausage eating competition..
After the competition was over, the crowd sabo-ed the JCRC present to a showdown..
Ya.. we had no choice but to entertain them..
Not being a spoilsport, I ate as fast as I could..
I was on par with Hao Jie until the very last sausage where he just forcefully stuffed an extra sausage into his mouth..
That stupid Sean was teasing Hao Jie about losing to me throughout the 5 mins..
Thus, it sort of became like a competition between the 2 of us..
In the end, I ate 8 and Hao Jie ate 9..
I only felt bloated after the thing.. But I think I have indigestion.. I can still feel the sausages swimming in my stomach.. *puke*
The meeting was resumed after the event..
After the meeting, I came back and MZ asked me to go for floorball..
Since she invited me, I think I should go and show face at least..
Playing floorball with them wasn't that bad at all.. And they weren't the only ones there so I didn't feel very out of place..
I only feel weird in the game because they all know how to play.. The ball was flying all over the place and they are also running all over..
I only stand there and move around a little.. try to hit the ball if the opportunity strikes..
And guess what? I scored a goal by luck!
The ball just came, I just hit it blurly and it just rolled into the goal! Everyone was shocked by that goal.. Lol.. I'm so happy!
Now, I'm sitting in my room.. cooling down and waiting for them to finish bathing..
Wow.. I did so much today!
I'll upload the combine hall pics when the guy sends them to me..
See, I'm so nice.. I let you see my pretty face..
It's used for NUS publicity hor.. So don't play play hor!!

* New Camera! *
Woohoo! I bought a camera! Finally I have my own camera! My very first! Yay!

Here's the discription of the camera:
Some pics of the camera:
I bought it for $299 with free gifts: 3 2GB SD cards + cleaning kit + cloth + mini tripod + additional battery + screen protective film + a big umbrella. (Usual price of the camera: $398) I think it's quite worth it. I've got a $100 sponsor from my father for the camera too. Let the cam-whoring begin!

* Courtesy.. *
So much for courtesy..
This Hall is so FAKE!!
By writing down the word 'courteous' doesn't mean that the content written is courteous.
It only show how FAKE and CHILDISH the author is!
Why can't anybody see things in our shoes?
Of course, we know that certain stuff will only cause more conflicts after it is made known.
So WHY demand to know about it anyway?
I should have heed advice and not open my mails.
Reading those mails can really make my blood boil.
Why can't anybody appreciate what is done for them?
I can do what they want. But is it really what they want in the end?
Everyone should know that comparison can only drive one to one's grave.
So why bother to know the unspeakable and create more animosity?
True that there are some cool-headed people out there who can think properly.
But have anyone thought of those who can't?

Why is it like it's only me..
My first email to everyone in ages and this is what I get.
Do I really deserve this?
Fine! I should have never done this!
Fault me for all I care!
Blame it on my poor use of language!
Blame it all on me!

I really dunno how much longer I can hold..
Honestly.. I may only be just as strong as you see..
But this is the most I can do.. blog..

* Escaping.. *
After days of meetings and endless flow of emails, I've learned quite some things from the whole thing..
Now I appreciate more why the Singapore govt doesn't practice the freedom of speech. It was a measure taken so that the country won't be in chaos and the people wont be able to say things that they please. They restricted what people can say in public to protect the country's peace. This prevented the people from saying things to make others lose trust in the govt. I would say transparency maybe good but freedom of speech isn't. I may be too used to the system of the Singapore govt that I am stunned by the things happening now in hall. Everyone just say what they please and others join in to say more things. Everything just gets more and more nasty. It hurts to hear all the comments. It's not like nothing was done to improve it. Plans have to be thought through thoroughly, a bigger picture have to be seen. The plans have to be beneficial to all and not just a minority. We strive to keep the gap between the wealthy and poor small. We tried to make sure that everyone is treated fairly and they get what they deserve. It's not about being noble or what. But which judge in the world is not subjective in some way? Take any talent competition, why are there always more than one judge? It's to prevent unfair judgment and favoritism. Wouldn't a panel of 11 people make even fairer judgment? Furthermore, the one that is directly involved gets more control. If some extreme deviation from the mean is spotted, shouldn't it be singled out for extra scrutiny? I don't see any wrong in this, especially when changes were suggested and not forced upon. I hate all the talk about disappointment and lack of trust. When people don't voice out doesn't mean that they don't have any comments, it's just that they have no place to do so. I don't even remember having any channels to feedback to about anything last year when I was unhappy about the system. So people should have some limitations over what they say and be happy that they are given a chance to be heard by others at least. This isn't a right for them to criticize as freely as they want and demand that the genie grants them everything they wish for.

I just had to release my frustrations here.. The words above are written when I was just being emo.. So they cannot be taken too seriously.. everything written is just my personal bias subjective thoughts.. All rights reserved..
