Stubbornness occurs to everyone with no exceptions..
Being stubborn can be good or bad..
But it is sometimes good to listen to someone else for a change..
What can we do as leaders to improve situations?
CHANGE PEOPLE'S THINKING!!
This is not about restricting their thinking..
That's what dictators do..
Leaders are those who can convince the people to follow their thinking..
Leader are not up there just to make sure things happens smoothly..
Because things don't just happen!
If people already have the wrong idea, then how else are they going to be expected to make things run smoothly?
I don't believe how some people can talk about support for one another and the opposite just happened shortly after about less than 2 hours..
Good thinking needs to be drilled into people's mind!!
If this drilling can make more people learn how to appreciate others more, why not?
I don't see much of a brotherly or sisterly feeling people have for one another just now..
People can continue with what they are doing selfishly without caring for their "brothers" and "sisters" who have put in so much effort for the past weeks to put up a nice performance among their project deadlines and tests..
What a world?!
And shouldn't people be made to feel shameful about themselves and their selfishness?
If making them think differently about others is not the solution, then what is?
The world is declining and degrading as years and decades go by..
This place is becoming a more disappointing place to live in..
I need to get out of here soon!!

Sigh.. I hate Tuesdays..
Why? It's because it is a terribly long day for me..
Starting with 3 2-hours lectures back-to-back from 10am..
Then followed by a break for 2 hours before continuing with French at 6pm..
Just when you think my day in school has ended..
My work in hall had merely began..
It's meeting again at 8.30pm..
Hardly had any time to shower myself before meeting..
Left for the meeting at 8.30pm.. and I never knew when I'll be back in my room..
Brought some snacks and of course my laptop and the very important adaptor..
Need some entertainment to pass my time..
...
...
...
...
Ok.. Meeting finally ended like 6 hours later?
OMG.. I almost fell asleep in the room just now.. =P
This is my life in hall on a normal Tuesday, quite boring right?

Sigh.. Today I tested my stomach with Indian Cuisine again..
The previous time I ate at
Banana Leaf, I 'lao sai' the next day..
This time I ate at
Annalakshmi and the same thing happened..
I don't really know which is the specific food that is causing the problem, but all the food are nice!
If given another chance, I will still eat good Indian food even if I have to 'lao sai' again.. =)
Sigh.. I am still kind of sick from my cold/sinus after like 4-5days..
My nose is so going to peel like mad next week..
And there's JCRC photoshoot next Friday..

Woohoo!!
I just received a call from HP today..
They just told me that my laptop adaptor is arriving tomorrow between 9-12noon..
Yay!! Like finally.. -_-
I have really waited for damn long..
Let's count from the day the adaptor malfunctioned..
That was since 17 September..
OMG!! That was like 24 days ago!!
I am really surprised with myself!!
I survived 24 freaking days without my laptop!!
Many thanks to friends who have shown concern and even offering me the use of your laptops..
I am actually very excited about the arrival of my new adaptor! XD
My life is no longer bound to the computers of my friends and the libraries..
It's back to being the prisoner of my own laptop! =)

Wah.. I dunno how long I can tahan the whole situation..
I wanna puke blood and die liao..
I'm currently having "high blood" as Amanda will put it..
My stuff are piling up..
Many deadlines to meet..
Adaptor still not here..
Attending long meetings that will really test my limits..
I dunno how long I can tolerate life without my laptop..
(I just found out today that my adaptor will take another 2-3 weeks to be delivered..What the.. what happened to the 5-7 working that they have stated initially?)I just can't stand it when people ask for advices but don't heed any..
I keep thinking if my decision to help was a mistake..
But it's too late to back out now..
So whatever.. I just need a channel to complain..
Rawr!! I am done. =)

Recent Enlightenment:1) Tuition is a good source of income- I have always not taken up tuition due to the lack of confidence in teaching. Now that I have started, I feel that it is actually just like revising on our foundations again. And the better thing is that you get to share and improvise tips of grasping the concepts to the student. I feel a sense of achievement from that.
(It made me feel useful.)
2) As a JCRC, your CAP can actually go up- I found out why my CAP went down when the rest of the 27th's CAP went up last year. Reason: I was too involved in other things other than the JCRC. Thus, my plan this time round is to have lesser commitments and spend more time committed to studying.
3) Surviving a life without a laptop- On top of what was written in the previous post, I think that I have survived pretty well because I used the time that I normally spend on the laptop to do other things. Good allocation of time helps to improve grades and relationships. (Side effect: Decreased in quality and quantity in terms of work that requires the computer or internet)
4) Leveling up the ability to resist temptions of spending- The fact that I am relative poor restricts my spending power. The will to save money had increased my ability to resist temptions. Not that I usually spend on my wants, but I have reduced the amount of money spent in that catergory. I realised that I can avoid spending on snacks and unnecessary stuffs like new clothes and accesories. Retail therapy is a luxury. Window shopping without money is heart breaking and will only make you more depress after that.

I have survived more than 2 weeks without a laptop.. Hooray!!
What an achievement.. Lol..
I have learnt that I can survive without my laptop..
I just have to make use of the CBLC's computers more..
The only sickening thing is that the internet is such a wonder tool for communication that I feel kind of out of touch with many people..
I check my emails less often..
Reduced the frequency of blogging..
And of course lower the chance of being addicted to Facebook and its many applications..
I have almost forgottened that I still have my lap reports to do and also my mid-term essay to write..
The laptop (or rather the internet) is luxury that one can do without with for a certain period of time..
If I am not holding any special postition, I wouldn't mind not having my laptop for a longer period of time..
There are just seriously too much things that I feel I can only do with MY laptop that I cannot do without it for longer period of time..
There are just too many things that I depend on in my laptop..
My laptop is customised to my working style..
And using other computers, is just weird..
The ability to do things with my own style and at my own time with privacy is something that I feel I need..
With my laptop, I can do anything I want anytime..
Where there is nothing restricting me except for the lack of internet connection and AC power..
The adapter should be arriving today.. or latest monday.. (*cross fingers* Hope it's today!)
